Year in Review: Favorites of 2022

Published on January 2, 2023

Another year has passed, bringing with it plenty of learning, growth, and change. At the end of each year, I like to reflect on the best moments, because even in the most challenging times, there’s always something to be grateful for. As I look back, here are some of my personal favorites from 2022. I hope they inspire you as you plan for the year ahead!

Best Travels

Rhode Island: It had been years since I last visited this charming state, and it was refreshing to explore it with a new perspective. I visited several areas, including an unforgettable one-night stay at The Preserve, and spent a couple of days exploring Newport and Providence.

Arizona: If you follow me on social media, you know I make a yearly trip to Arizona, and now that my family has a home there, these visits will be even more frequent. If you’re interested in a Scottsdale area travel guide, let me know!

Miami: A weekend in Miami for a friend’s bachelorette party offered the perfect mix of beach time, dancing, and great food.

Fort Lauderdale: During a press trip to this Florida hub, I discovered just how fun this city can be.

Isle of Palms & Charleston, South Carolina: Another enjoyable press trip took me to these two charming locations in South Carolina.

Aruba: Although my original trip to Aruba was canceled due to Covid, I was able to reschedule and finally visit this stunning island last spring. The Amsterdam Manor Resort, the only Dutch-style hotel on the island, provided an exceptional stay.

Long Beach Island (LBI), New Jersey: This summer, I enjoyed a much-needed getaway with friends at this lovely New Jersey destination.

Tuscany, Italy: Returning to Europe for the first time since the pandemic was a dream come true. Tuscany’s beauty left me in awe, especially the small towns of Barga and Lucca.

The Caribbean: I embarked on a week-long cruise with Celebrity Cruises, exploring several Caribbean islands, including the Dominican Republic, St. Thomas, and Saint Maarten
